What are Webhooks?
Webhooks are a technique where we send a request to your webserver each time a specific event happens, for example when a new video gets uploaded or finished processing.
Your application should be able to receive HTTP requests. You can navigate to your webhooks page in your account dashboard to set up your first webhook. Enter the URL where your webserver runs and the webhook types you want to receive. We use json web tokens for the webhook payload so you can easily verify the webhook and get its payload as easy as possible. We will always send POST requests with a content-type of
text/plain with the jsonwebtoken as payload.
